Extended display screensaver question

I connected my laptop to my HDTV using HDMI connection. HDTV is my extended display (as opposed to a clone). Everything works fine except I can't have a screen saver on my laptop display while I am watching something on the HDTV. The screensaver is either on both displays or none.

I downloaded and configured Ultramon to solve the problem, but it didn't help. Although I am doing the right configuration, the screensaver is either on both or none.

Any suggestions?

You're going to have to live with both or neither. Screensavers aren't coded to run on one display and leave another alone. Neither is the power saving feature that puts your monitor to sleep.
