I need help with DIY CPU upgrade

Hi and thanks for stopping to read this,

I would like to upgrade the CPU in my Asus A8Sc notebook. It came stock with an Intel T7100 1.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo. I am looking at possibly upgrading to a much more powerful processor like the T9400:

I have several questions for whomever might be able to answer. (1) This is compatible with my motherboard correct? (2) Will this CPU overheat? I'm concerned that my stock fans might not be able to handle it. And lastly, (3) How can I install it myself?

Any help is of course greatly valued and appreciated! Thanks!!

It looks like this is the chipset that is your notebook.

Mobile Intel PM965 Express

Looks like they are compatible together.

Thanks for the help. Will my chipset support the 1066 MHz front-side bus speed of the T9400 though?
