hi! i need Windows XP Drivers for Sony Vaio VGN-FW139E please. Help!

Have you tried by sony/eSupport?
http://esupport.sony.com/US/

if they are not there, you just have to go hunting for each device drirectly from their support sites (ATI for graphic, Intel for chipset, Broadcom for bt, Realtek for sound, Alps for touchpad, Marvell for network devices ..)

thanx for your reply. i have tried sony vaio support link and talked to a support agent. he said sony is working on this but gave me no date for release. there is a petition on wb about that

well, the other alternative is, as mentioned above, to list out your devices and go direct to the manufacturers sites or look into a similar model for xp drivers

if you list out the devices names/models - maybe we can all chip in for the search

all the drivers are listed here http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu...?mdl=VGNFW139E for vista of course. what i need is the same drivers for xp. thanx

ok, we can do this, I take the example of the Marvell® Atheros® Wireless LAN Driver. You copy and paste in a search engine like this "Marvell® Atheros® Wireless LAN XP Driver". You then see many hits and links, it could be possible that the driver belongs to another laptop brand and model, still you can try to download and install it

i found a file with what supposed to be the essential xp drivers for fw139e. i haven't tried it yet. i put it here for everyone who want to test it. it s a torrent file
