Advent Help

I Have an Advent 7113... its died...

Basically whats happening is the powerlight and hdd light come one then only powerlight comes on .. the screen doesnt light up as usual and all that it does is get warm .. the fans will kick in after 2-5 mins, there is no output onn the external VGA connector .. im thinking the mainborad is fried .. i have tested the HDD and the screen in another of the same model ...just want to be sure before i spend the pennies on a new MB...

Any advice or info would be great

also.. if the doner machine had a bios password... would reflashing the bios remove the password protection?
