Hi,

On my new XPS M1330 I will have a mobile broadband mini-card.

Does Orange or Vodafone do a pay as you go sim card deal so I won't have to use an account (I want to use different SIMs in different countries)

Thanks
Philip

Vodafone does in NZ and Aussie [normal prepaid phone sim]......you pay quite a lot more though per MB compared to an on account sim.....as you probably know .....can't speak for anywhere else though.

Unfortunately, Orange and Vodafone both do not have Pay as you Go Mobile Broadband. The two networks that do are T-Mobile and 3. T-Mobile will charge you up to £4.00 a day (This is charged for the first £4.00 usage each day, midnight to midnight) while 3 will charge £10 for a 1GB add-on, £15 for 3GB, £25 for 7GB which will last for 30 days. For a little more information I have a post on my blog about Pay as you Go Mobile Broadband in the UK. ( http://mobiledatauk.blogspot.com/200...broadband.html )

Hope this helps,

Neil

Thanks - it looks like I should go with Three in the UK - I found their SIM only option:
