Yet another "Which laptop to buy" topic

So I've recently begun my search for the perfect gaming laptop for me. I've narrowed my search to 3 companies: Alienware, Sager, and XtremeNotebooks.

The models I've been looking at are the Area-51 m17x from Alienware, the NP9262 from Sager, and the Xtreme 917-V from XtremeNotebooks. The prices range from around 5500$ (Alienware) to 3500$ (Sager), with the Xtreme pricing in between those. I'm looking at the high end builds of each of these, as you can clearly tell.

Now, I've done business with Alienware in the past, and have always had a good experience with them, as far as customer support goes. That said, I'm willing to go with that higher price because of this. The other two companies I've learned about through word of mouth and on the internet, and both were highly recommended. Alienware seems to receive a lot of negative feedback based solely on their prices, so this led me to look for alternatives.

I'll be honest: I love the blinking lights and various other bells and whistles that Alienware tacks on. Call me a "shallow hal", but those things do make me feel like I'm getting something ~extra~.

I've browsed the reviews of the NP9262 here on the forum, but I did not see reviews for the other 2 laptops in question. So, my question boils down to simply wishing to hear various posters opinions on the models I've mentioned, as well as good/bad experiences they may have had dealing with the companies of those models.

If necessary, I can post the build of each computer. Basically, I'm just wanting the best "bang for my buck". A high tier laptop that will be able to play the best games at the highest settings for a few years to come.

Thanks for any insight/feedback!

The two games in the near future I'm planning on getting are Sacred 2 and Fallout 3.

I'm certain I'll also be picking up some of the FPS games I've had to skip out on due to my old PC being a smoldering hunk of junk. Cryis and Far Cry 2, notably.
