Ram Problems

I recently updated my ram from 1 gb to 2.5 but something is wrong i can't use all of the ram just 1 gb

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 2.5 gb
Total Physical memory 1.00 gb
available physical memory 139mb
Total virtual memory 1.97 gb
available virtual memory 516mb
page file space 1.00gb

So I don't know why im having this problem

My sistem Dell Inspiron 9400
Windows vista ultimate 32 bit
core duo t2300
100gb 7200rpm

Are you sure that you have upgraded to 2.5gigo ram? Specs call for 2gigo max, how did you manage to have 2.5 in there?
