What is the Best gaming laptop?

I want a gaming laptop that provides both power, reliability, and one that can stand up to a desktop.

This thing will take some time to build up money for so i just want it to be an amazing laptop.

Please add links. If the laptop can be customized, what should i choose.

Also i live in canada, so some companies will most likely rape me on shipping.

Just go to dell or alienware and get the most expensive one they have. But any half-decent gaming desktop will pwn the heck out of the best laptops.

I have been told that a Sager 5796 is alot better then a dell or alienware. true?

I've been told Sager's are poor build quality compared to a dell or alienware (but very fast). Oh yeah, you can also look at the benchmarks > and see which are the fastest.

I've been told the opposite.

I was told by both gamespot and warhammeralliance.com that sager is the best quality and power.

I heard dell is junk and alot of alienwares are defective.

I've heard of alienware problems, but Dells are the best laptops money can buy IMO. They've always had insanely good longevity and reliability. I'm speaking from what I've heard and my experience with 2 latitudes which lasted a decade. But of course, others may disagree and say Asus or Sony. I personally love my budget-HP.

What a conversation.

Sager notebooks are built on Clevo designs which is very similar to what Alienware uses. Dells are more proprietary but the Internal components are basically all the same.

I've had two Sagers and the built quality is as good or better than any.

The main advantage of Sager is the price in the high end. You can get a lot more power for your money with a Sager than with a Dell or Alienware if you're shopping for a high end gaming notebook. Go to a Sager reseller and compare directly for a similar configuration from a competing brand.

You have to decide how much money you're willing to spend and how long you want to keep it in service because no matter what you buy today it will start to feel old in a year and start to feel obsolete in two years. Notebooks have very limited resale value after a couple years and very limited upgradability.

I've done a lot of research personally and gaming is a major consideration in my notebook purchase. I feel that a Sager is the best value you can get in a high end gaming notebook.
