Removing Grub Dual boot

Thread Starter
All,

I have an Acer 5610Z that is dual boot into Linux and XP using Grub.
Since this is my machine that I also use at work I wish to remove the Linux as I don't use it on this machine. (It was an experiment). (I do use elsewhere).

How do I remove GRUB and force the machine to always boot to XP PRO?

After I remove the GRUB I am going to repartition my machine to provide a data drive D: form the old Linux space. I can do that with an older version of Partition magic that I have. Or do I need to get a new version of partition magic? Or what do I used (XP is NTFS partition)

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

. most used method, booting into the recovery console then
- C:\WINDOWS
- CD ..
- FIXBOOT C:
- FIXMBR
- BOOTCFG /rebuild

. "old" partition magic should work

cheers ...

I finally got around to it and your suggestion worked great.
