need advice: dell or apple?

Hi,
I'm looking for a laptop , and after loads of searching it came down do:
Apple MacBook Pro: 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory , 200GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256 MB
Dell XPS M1330: Core2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz, 3GB memory , 250GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS 128 MB

wow, that is a total opposite way of computing - but then i use both (mac and windows) myself.

if price is not a concern, then i'll pick the apple. You show here a 13.3 Dell vs a (15.4 or 17) Apple, would that play any factors into your decision?

what qhn said. comparing a 13.3 (thin, light, portable), to a 15 (not so thin and light...not fat, just bigger than the dell), or a 17" monster is not a very logical comparison to make. So consider what is more important to you, portability or performance?

Personally I would choose the dell, partially b/c I already have a 15.4" lappy that isn't very useful on the go.

The M1330 with LED screen weighs practically nothing, and that's with the big 9 cell battery.

Also, unless you really need MacOS I'd only go with a Mac if you could get a better price than a Dell laptop.
