LOST RAM? D drive with taken invisible space?

Maybe you guys could help me out. I really have no idea what i have done. But heres the facts.

I should have ruffly 232 gigs, but i only have 167.
Then, the D drive, which i have NOTHIN in it, states it is 90 percent full.t
I did re instal vista and this is what happens.

The C DRIVE


The D Drive


I have windows vista
MC-1617
AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58

Please help me, thanks.

Look like D is your receovery partition. I personally leave it alone.

its bothering me to no end......

lost ram? i want it back

the d drive....... any easy fix?

. lost ram? nah, vista will make use of any available ram that it can get its hand on, but never leave other processes in the lurk. If they need the ram, vista will release it to them in good timing. Call it as you like, but vista is one of the best memory/cpu management OS that microsoft has in a long time.

. d drive? short of a complete wipe out (use gPart) and re.install again, it will stay there always. I still personally not recommend removing it.
