M1330 - SB Audigy MB - Windows XP - Drivers?

Just got my new M1330, originally came with Vista, but i gave it the boot as i need XP for my work. It came with the SB Audigy MB stuff, it had worked fine when installed in Vista.. but FFS I cannot get it to work in XP, I tried off my cd, I tried off an ISO of a Windows XP version (not sure what audio hardware it was compatidble with). I tried Dell driver for this for Windows XP.. ive googled for hours.. but nothing works.. has anyone gotten this thing to work? Is it possible for it to function under Windows XP? Where the hell can I find a working driver for it?

yup, poked around their drivers, every time i got a "no supported device found", i also tried their auto-update service.. also didnt find anything, i know its there cause its installed on the windows vista partition.

i dont think a windows xp driver is "enough", i think i need a driver (SBA Advanced MB) which is for my sound card "Sigmatel STAC-9228" that runs under Windows XP.

theres gotta be one that exists right?, or perhaps the vista version can be convered to xp with a bit of reworking here and there..

what you need to do is go to the folder that contains the driver installation/set up file, right click and choose to run it under administration mode - simple as that

Mind you that audio driver isn't really a hardware driver. All it is is a Creative Labs software wrapper that enables any integrated audio to use some of their higher end EAX extensions. You still have to install the Sigmatel audio driver from Dell.

Personally Creative Labs would have to PAY ME to take their crappy bloatware.
