Hi , I'm new here and I hope the techs here can help . I have a Sony laptop , model PCG-GRT100 . My wireless adapter seem not to be working any longer . In Devise Manager there a yellow exclamation mark on my adapter . I have try to get the latest driver but that didn't help . I got a code 10 error . I'm thinking it has die on me because of age . Now I am curious what are my options ? Can these card be replace ? If so ? Does anyone know what I should look for ? Thanks so much for any help .

I am using windows xp pro .

. can you still switch (toggle) on and off ?
. tried to un.install the device (not the driver) and see
. try also performing a repair on your windows, or a re.install? you did not mention how did it start not functioning

cheers ...

Hi , Actually I have reinstall Windows xp , afterward it still doesn't work with the latest driver . I'm curious if I can buy a new wireless mini pci adapter card for this model ? This laptop is about 8 years old , so it just might be its time . Does anyone one know where I can buy a new card for this model ?

BTW Thanks for responding .

You can replace the part, the issue is to find it. As this is an old modle, you probably will be looking at refurbished parts. I would just use an usb or pcmcia adapter - cheap and simple

cheers ...
