part # for the GDDR3 8600m GT?

I know there are 2x different Dell 8600m GTs. One is DDR2, and the other DDR3. Anyone know what the different part numbers are? Thanks.

uhh, which machines? on the XPS 1530 at least, which is the GDDR3 one (dont think any other model uses the GDDR3), it is soldered to the motherboard

Ah its soldered on? Crap! I thought Dell would be smart enough to make it a stand-alone card instead of integrating it into the motherboard Only cards that should be built in are Intel ones.

Ya soldered on,the vostro 1500 I had,had a removable video card.......but that was a bit of a fatty,I guess with customers demanding thinner and thinner notebooks we'll see graphics daughterboards less often.

a notebook as thin as the 1530 it needs to be on the board instead of separate
