hp f11 recovery not working

hi all i got hp laptop,after i use acronis to clone the image,i found that f11 recovery function not working,other that that,all is working find.May i know what problem?

The problem was simply that Acronis, and many other cloning apps, did not "see" the recovery partition during cloning. Many claimed that Ghost (Norton) can clone the recovery partition, but none had confirmed that it would work, yet.

so u means acronis is bad then norton ghost?but i use the acronis to clone back it is usccesful?

You meant acronis is not as good as Norton Ghost? No, i did not imply that. Others claim that Glhost can clone the whole drive, including the recovery partition, but i have not yet read/heard any confirmations that the cloned drive works as far as when a recovery was being needed.

You can clone back an acronis backup, it works! But there was no recovery partition to come back with it.
