x41 Bluetooth issue

Ok.

Upgraded from a R40 to an X41. Nice ultraportable, I'm quite happy with it except for the bluetooth.

Now this *is* a refurbished unit... so it could boil down to a Windows install error but here goes.

I power on Bluetooth with FN-F5 or the utility program. Device shows as "on" shows up in the Device Manager, and the light on the keyboard lights up.

However I cannot access it. The bluetooth .cpl won't run on this computer, trying to access it from RUN does nothing. It's not in Control Panel so I can't do anything with the Bluetooth.

How do I go about fixing this? Is it as simple as copying the .cpl from my R40 to this computer or do I have to do some more serious black-magics?

Install this first:

Then install the stuff posted by QHN.

Do both of these steps while the device is powered on.

QHN thanks for the inspiration
