Asus M51SN vs. TOSHIBA A300-1GN

Thread Starter
I'm buying laptop in price range for around 1000 € with 15" or 15,4" display. I found out that ASUS M51SN (with 320GB HD) and TOSHIBA Satellite Pro A300-1GN are the best buy at the moment, at least in Slovenia.
However, it's hard to find reviews and comparisons on websites because some models are available only in few regions and besides that, they have different configuration.
I have only found review for Asus.
Both laptops are very concurrent regarding to technical specifications. Asus has faster processor, more RAM, DVI output, while Toshiba has non-defective graphics card, faster RAM, better build-in speakers, display with higher resolution and a lot of security mechanisms (are they even useful?).

What do you recommend? Do you maybe own one of those laptops and can describe your user experiences? Which brand is better in general? I request for as many advices as possible.

Thank you very much for help in advance.

Best regards,
krneki

actually, I think the accidental protection is only included with systems bought in North America. It's still got the 2 year global warranty, but not the accidental protection.

Also, the graphics card in the Asus is not defective either. Problems were with the 8600M and 8400M. The 9500M is problem-free.
