XPS M1330 - How to disable the webcam and USB Controllers?

Hi,

Tonight I will be installing my new Belkin High-Speed ExpressCard Docking station on my fantastic, amazing new M1330 (yay!)

One of the problems Belkin own up to is that during installation of the Vista Driver, it may be necessary to disable the built-in webcam and also perhaps the USB Controllers.

How do I do that please?

I want to ensure my install goes smoothly.

thanks for any help

Philip

Well, if you still need to know, go into Start->Control Panel->Device Manager

Select USB root hub. Right click on one and click properties. Click disable.

Then select the webcam in the device manager, I forget where it is, and I'm on my desktop. Right clight->Properties->Disable.
