I recently bought an Asus M70VM, I assume it's the A1 model because underneath the notebook, where the sticker for the serial number is the ID=1A.

The specs are standard Centrino 2 Duo Core P8400
320gb hdd (I still have 1 extra bay for a second hdd which I will add later)
nvidia GeForce 9600m GS
4gb ram
17" WXGA+
and the usual

I was checking out the bay for the extra hdd, the ram and processor this morning and I noticed an extra wire the looked like it should be connected to some internal bluetooth or wifi adaptor. However since I do know that both my internal bluetooth and wifi adaptors are working and that the connector on this extra wire is wrapped in a small plastic casing to protect the connector head, I am wondering what possible expension purpose it would serve.

Can anyone help me out since I don't want to risk completely opening my brand new notebook just yet to mod it.

Also by anychance does anyone know how to prevent Windows Media Center (I have vista home premium on this notebook) from popping up everytime I play a game or open some music/video files? I know I'm not pressing any button to activate it and it's annoying. It even happens when I just decide to move the notebook from my desk to my coffee table.
