Hey everyone. Recently, I got a new job where I'm required to have a windows computer. Since I just bought an Imac for my house, I figure I might as well get rid of my macbook and get a windows laptop. Basically, I want to trade my macbook straight up or maybe it and a little cash for a similar windows laptop. Here are the specs on my macbook...
Age- approx 1.5 years old
Processor- 2.0 Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory- 2 gb 667 mhz ddr2
Harddrive- 80 gb
Screen- 13.3 glossy
Bluetooth
DVDRW Drive
Airport Extreme Wireless Card
Isight Camera
OSX Leopard (comes with tiger discs)
Applecare (approx 1.5+ years left)
Microsoft Office 2008 Professional Pre-installed
Condition- other than the normal wear on the back screen cover, the computer is in excellent shape. I take care of my stuff. I've had a marware palmrest protector on it since day 1, so when I take that off the palmrest will look brand spankin new. Screen is flawless.
Here is what I want to trade for...
Processor- Dual Core of some type equal or better than what I have
Memory- prefer 2gb or better/ 1 gb minimum
Harddrive- minimum 80 gb.. more would be much better
Screen- anything from 13-14".. maybe 15.. NOT 17
Bluetooth
DVDRW Drive
Good wireless card
PREFER WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL... will maybe think about vista
(oh god)
Condition- very good to excellent- no scuffs, large scratches, drops, etc...
Warranty- prefer a computer with some left on it
Graphics- whatever/ don't play pc games much
I've been looking at Lenovo, Dell Refurbs, HP.. not too fond of Compaq or Gateway but i'll at least consider any offer.
