wtb: fairly cheap laptop

alright, well I am in the market for a used laptop, and thought I would try here before I settled with eBay. Here is what I'm looking for

prefer dell, but brand really doesnt matter
1.5gHz or faster
30gb or bigger HD
1gig of ram or better
XP Pro only, no vista, but may settle for XP Home, must have microsoft office also

looking to spend under $350 shipped, will be ready to buy in 2-4 weeks just trying to see what is out there.

i dont think someone would be willing to hold a laptop for that long


in 3-4 weeks black friday deals will be out, why not wait then and get a new technology laptop? may have to camp but maybe worth it

soulsaver, thats a good idea and I hadnt thought about that. the thing is, any new computer will have Vista installed, which is the OS I don't want. But, I will keep that in mind and keep browsing this forum and ebay and see what kind of deals come up on a Dell 6000.

vista isnt really that bad tho

also, do keep in mind, with researsh any laptop can run win xp
