so i have been wanting to install XP onto my satellite but am unsure of many things. i hear all this talk about problems with drivers and some attempts not so successful and i have not found one post on my series, a135-4737.

i was wondering, does it matter which XP version i reinstall? cuase i just wanted to reinstall XP, not XP pro. cuase its cheaper ... $100 vs $200.

second, is my series compatible with XP. i have read that some dont support downgrades, and then people are left on their own (wtf?)

or should i just reinstall vista home premium?

Yes its compatible. I install Windows XP Media Center for a client of mine on a A135-s4527. I looked up the pecs on both laptops and I think the the laptops are pretty much the same. Any version of XP should work. If you run into issues, drop me a line. Good luck.
