Yes, I've made a very similar thread a month ago; haven't really cared about this issue until I've been fine-tuning TF2's engine to get the most FPS while maintaining non-horrid graphics.
First off, my specs:
Pent M - 1.60 GHz
RAM - 2.00 GB
GPU - GeForce Go 6800
I've been using the Dell driver (84.30 I believe? The lastest one), and well, I've been longing for an updated driver.
About a month ago, I tried out two tweaked drivers (the latest NBF & LV2GO drivers), and those had at least one negative effect on my computer -- namely mouse-scrolling, which was really slow. Maybe I had to adjust a setting or two, I don't know. Also note that when I installed those drivers, I formatted my HDD and did a clean install of XP.
Anyways, I'm just looking for a driver that's a bit better than the one I'm currently using. And please, don't say to install some random updated driver if you don't have any experience w/ a system similar to mine; I'm looking for someone who'll recommened a driver, and possibly help me if I need to adjust some settings to make it "just right" for my computer (i.e. tweaking a certain option to fix the mouse scrolling).
Thanks.
