Problems

First thanx to all the guys been helping me with my problems and to all who make this forum a godsend for everyone.

Spoke to an Irish alienware tech support guy by the name of Fiachra, he has been very helpful. He has sent me out two new Ram sticks as mine are faulty. Will be putting them in on monday, hopefully this will solve my crashes, BSOD's and other various problems.

I turned my laptop on this morning and the LCD was a bright white, which apparently indicates faulty memory. By the way does anyone know wherebouts the RAM is located on these Area51m's.

PS, my area ATI card is giving me all sorts of errors, may be the drivers - Blue screen errors, and Unreal Tournament 2K4 reports that there is a problem. I am using the ATI drivers from the website, should I change back to Omega drivers which worked fine.

Cheers.

You have to clear out the old drivers b4 you ditch the new. That's probably the problem.

The ram is located under the right side of the keyboard. Look in your little black book to find instructions for KB removal.

You should prolly UNinstall the old driver's before installing new ones, just to lessen the chance of conflicts.
