dell 1720 laptop problem

hi guys

i have dell notebook 1720 model, problem is when i boot up laptop tells me i need to reseat the hard drive which i have done, tried rebooting but same error all the time

any advice?

Sounds like a bad drive, call Dell.

ive swapped drives and also connected via usb on another pc, the drive is working fine but has issues when i stick the drive into the dell laptop

motherbaord??? isssue??

probably the hard drive connector which is part of the mobo, so ya, call dell
