Alienware keyboard in a Sager 9262

Thread Starter
Does anyone know if the Alienware M17X and the Sager 9262 share the same chassis?? I really like the keyboard on the Alienware and I was wondering if I could order a replacement keyboard in put it in a 9262. I have the backlit keyboard on my MacBook and would love to have one on the 9262.

Yes I know… Sager people aren’t supposed to like the fancy crap they just like speed. But I always seem to end up writing code in the dark at 2 am and I’m always working on a new compiler that wants me to hit strange key combinations. And I hate, with a passion, those stupid USB lights.

And sorry... I'm a tree hugger... I won't turn on the lights...

Thanks,

JP

Its a pity they don't offer it. I was going to go with Sager for the laptop I just purchased but ended buying Alienware because I needed the backlit kb .
