Hey peaple it has been few months for me since my last visit here...and now i end up with another problem that i tryed to solve and got really tired!
I DONT HAVE SOUND! Now everything seems to work fine. After the installestion Service Pack 3 i noticed to things. One i still have Other Devices-PCI Device.......???
Now this should be covered with Motorola modem driver.....but i said to my self "oh, whatever i dont need it anyway" now it seems that my sound drivers are installed correctly though no sound! when i play a mp3 in Winamp i get "bad driver Direct Sound" At the end - Error code:88780078. Now i tryed the Windows Ultiamte KB888111 patch or whatever you call it.
Basicly i am out of ideas, i tryed 2 differant sound drivers i had. Old one from the Alienware Support CD and one i downloaded long time ago.
When i was on Service Pack 2 i never had serious problems with Sound.
