The Dell Precision M6400 - Page 3

Great thread!

Now I have the bug I guess I'll always have a desktop self build with high end GPUs, but nice to see new gen mobile GPUs running like 8800gt desktops

M6400 will be my next laptop, but right now loving the M6300/fx3600 combo. I'm hoping that LED screen will be as good or better quality than the glossy truelife wugxa which I have, and maybe make the laptop just a little lighter for travelling with

The fx3600 is great for gaming too, even crysis ~30fps on medium @ 1200x800 without tweaking it
-desktop is 30-60 on very high

Kudos to dell for what appears to be a great new design

I use my laptop for work and the precision/inspirion design format has proven to be tougher than the competition, from my observation

* can't wait till one of you lot get your hands on one and benchmark it

I think I'm going to keep the M6300 as my next (possibly final) gaming laptop.

Quadcore = more power. Gotta thank Dell for not getting it bigger lol.

Amen to that. It really doesn't make sense to pay so much for desktop replacement anymore, plus I don't game often as much.
