the .dll file works fine for me just that pressing play doens't start up winamp for me. wish it did though. that would've been cooler.

i'm like a kid with a new toy , if you guys already know, apologies i found out about it just now and it is nifty

anyway you can set up the touchpad to launch winamp, click on your touchpad icon on the bottom right and go to gestures, then assign the program you want to run

Maybe you don't have the touch-pad software installed.

maybe you guys have noticed already, but with the newer version of winamp 5, the dll is not needed anymore, as the global hotkey settings i winamp works great with the play buttons etc.

I dedicated one of the corners of my touchpad to launching winamp and my playlist.

Gotta be a way to have one of the buttons to launch winamp directly. I guess you could always hack the windows keyboard files directly so the play/stop buttons etc sends another string. I've done this before but with the regular keys.

there are two alternatives:

It will work, but you may need to adjust the settings. For example, click on the "Play" hotkey and click on the line where there is a command (for example, "Control+Alt+Enter" may be listed). Click in that field and push the appropriate media button, then click "set."
