Hey guys,

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-671L that was running Photoshop kind of slow on its factory memory. I ordered two new 512 mb ram chips for it from Crucial but now they are here and I have no idea hoiw to install them!

Can anyone tell me what to do or should I just take everything up to the Geeksquad at Best Buy and hope for the best?

Too late!

I took it apart but wasn't 100% sure if I what I thought was its ram really was or not (it was - lol). Whatever though... I am glad I decided to take it in rather than risk damaging my machine. *shrug*

if you were doubting yourself then i'd say you made the right choice, but you should at least look into it next time, you'd be surprised how simple the "hardware" can be as opposed to the software side.
