Congratulations! I can't wait to see your own benchmarks.

I'm going to guess you will get performance close to a single desktop GTX 260 with a 3DMark06 score around 15000.

Anyone wish to start taking bets? LOL!

I'll bet you can't wait to get your hands on the new Far Cry 2 game when it comes out. You'll be ready that's for sure.

Sup all. I just bit the same bullet. For the same reasons as well. My config is very similar except processor(I went with the q9550). And the hard drive(200gb, 7200 rpm). I have no idea how they'll compare. I'll try to post some results soon. Maybe this machine will be the one that finally gets to play DNF(not holding my breath). Although there were two new hi-res DNF screens posted yesterday on bluesnews. Christmas '08???

Sager's reply was... " We can't speculate on what nvidia might have in store for the future, and can't make any guarantee's as to whether or not they'll produce a mobile version of the 260/280 gpu". Even if nvidia does produce a mobile version, will my new 9262 be able to upgrade to it? Time will tell.
