I have a problem wtih my Satellite SA40-702 (yes I know it's old)
When I am typing the cursor will jump back to the start of the sentence, on a bad day this will happen after after every letter that I type, in fact it is often quicker to type backward (although not practical)
I have also noticed that when I start up the recycle bin flashes sometimes like it is stuck on it and from the start up menu it can be really difficult to get the cursor to settle over the item that I want to choose.
I have disabled the touch mousepad so I know it's not that, I have also taken every key off and cleaned with an air cleaner.
Any other ideas?
