Acer 7720G big problem

When i play any game(CS 1.6, Halo, UT3 absolute any game) my fps drops to 30 and lower... Why? this notebook is SHIT?

or maybe this is becouse i have Vista SP1, but drivers is for Vista SP0...
And i can't download newer drivers becouse downloading is not accessable...

did this happen from the start? or just happening? if it is just happening, what didi you do to make this notebook of yours becoming sh**ty? tried a restore?

good thinking, worth checking out the games' sites for updates and tips regarding SP1

Just out of curiosity, what up to date Antivirus program are you using and do you run any antispyware type utilities???

Hm... installed lastest drivers, all works like before, but more good... Like fps drops to 20-30 before, now 60-70 at peak...

But i still have fps drops=( I think the notebook caching game textures and other, but don't clearing his cache. And then I alt+tab then w8 some time, and then he clearing the cache... Smth like that xD
Me from Rus... My english grammatic is bad

I have KIS 2009. No any spyware or viruses=)

I set in power management to Best Performance... But I think that notebook changing the elictricity to the CPU and Videocard anyway.

Hmmmm....
I found one thing:
I launched Resources monitor and CS 1.6, for 2 monitors. And i see this:
process " system" is jumping from 3 to ~17 and hl ~70... But after some time i see this:
System fighting with hl.exe like this:
System jumps from 2 to ~34 and hl.exe jumps from 30 to ~50-60

hl.exe is Halflife. It may be in your startup menu, which you don't need. You know how to uncheck that so it don't start when you start
computer?
Or better still, uninstall Halflife altogether.

I playing CS 1.6 and watching resoureces monitor in one time. I have steam cs.
I want know why process "System" make lag. Why this process jump from 17% cpu usage( jumping from 3 to 17 - is normal) to 40%? Why he did that?

Hm. Some1 have a problem like this? Or only I have this problem?
Becouse i will reinstall vista tomorrow.
