Hi all, I now am running a Sager NP 9252, and am looking to sell my old XPS M1710. Notebook is in perfect working condition, and no real faded or chipped paint.

Asking $900, and I'll pay for shipping.

DELL XPS M1710
Intel Core Duo processor T2600 (2.16GHz/667Mhz)
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition AND Microsoft Vista Ultimate(Full Version)
2 GB, DDR2-667 SDRAM, 2 DIMM
Internal English Keyboard
512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX
Hitachi 100GB Hard Drive (7200RPM)
NEC 8XDVD+/-RW
Soundblaster Advanced Audio for XPS
Broadcom 802.11 n-band Mini-Card
Bluetooth Enabled
High-Definition DVI Out Connector
VGA Out Connector
S-Video (TV Out) Connector
6 USB Ports
1 Expresscard Slot
1 Media Card Reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS PRO/xD)
1 IEEE1394 Mini-Firewire Out Connector
Microphone in and Headphone Out Ports
10/100 Mbps Ethernet
V.92 Modem

The down side to this is that the battery is near the end of its life and has a short lifespan when not plugged in to AC power. Also the warranty on this unit has expired, however a reneweal can be purchased easily.

This laptop has ZERO functional defects, and has served me well.

If I dont get any love from the community, i might ebay it as spare parts

Thanks for looking.

You cannot from my understanding renew or extend any dell warrantees that have lapsed. Please check with dell to confirm this but I pretty sure this is the case.

I know that on the business side, I have called them, and they have given me options for renewing warranties.

I have contacted DELL personally, and they will sell an extension of warranty on this machine for about anyting you want -- 1 to 3 years, next day home support vs mail in support, and with/without completecare. Just to let everyone know.
