Dell Inspiron 6000 DVD drive problems

Hey guys,

It seems that I can't burn DVDs on my DVD-RW drive. I can write CD-Rs and read DVDs, but burning DVDs. Could this be a driver issue? Program issue? If my DVD drive is busted, can this be replaced as easy as the memory and hard drive?

what sort of error are you getting. If the drive can read discs and write to CD-Rs I would wager a guess that this is more a software issue than anything. What program are you using to burn?
