Dell 9300 inspiron problem

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 and it's been having problems for about two weeks now. When it does run it eventually freezes after an odd noise, then there will eventually be a very loud BEEP and it shuts off immeidately. Then if I try to restart it, the LED's will light up for about five seconds, but the computer won't turn on. I have opened it up and cleaned it out of dust. For some reason each time I open it up then reassemble it, it will boot up. But then after about 10 minutes the same problem occurs. Can anyone help with this? Any ideas what is causing this?

. try reseat your ram modules
. try swapping the ram modules around
. run memcheck
. run a chkdisk and see if there is any issues with the hard drive

I tried swapping the RAM modules, reseating them and even buying new ones. It still doesn't work. It no longer boots at all now. I can hear the HDD spin, and the LEDs light up for about five seconds. That's all. Any other ideas???
