Dell Inspiron 1525 Graphics

Mine has an intel graphics card canthis be removed? I saw a youtube vid where this guy did it to an older version inspiron but my friend is convince it cant be removed. Anyone know this pelase help, and if it can be removed I it would be really helpful to know where to get a replacement (its not broken i jsut want to upgrade so i can rtun better games)

You cannot remove, replace or upgrade the integrated video.

I didn't know if it was intergrated or not. I'm still not sure though but i think it is now

any software or drivers recommend (intel 965 chipset family or something like that i can't remember)

The graphics chip on your 1525 is integrated into the motherboard and CANNOT be removed as Stu has said. I have actually taken apart Inspiron 1525's before.

Nope - it's integrated on the board.

there were some versions that had optional GPUs, but that has stopped.

The 15r still can be configured with a optional GPU
