My computer no longer reads my battery. When I check the lights on the battery it shows 5 green lights, but in power management it shows AC power. When I disconnect the AC the battery warning indicator flashes red and the laptop dies within minutes. can anyone help me?

Your battery most likely has one or more bad cells. I'd say try another battery and see if your problem persists.

Common problem due to a bad cell, replace the battery
