Bought a refurbished from NewEgg.com

Hello everyone,

I just bought my first refurbished laptop, and first laptop overall. I bought it at NewEgg.com

While I am impatiently waiting for it to arrive, I'd like to ask you a couple of questions:

1. Will the package I receive be almost as new? Will I receive an HP box, everything packed in those plastic bags etc? Or will it just be some simply put there?

2. I am not sure I understand this. The question is if I will receive an adapter? Here's what NewEgg.com says on their website:

Open Box Item Return Policy
[...]
If you purchase an Open-Box product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE item, meaning you will only receive the item itself. Accessories are NOT INCLUDED with Open-Box products, even if the missing accessory is required for the item to function properly.[...]

However, under laptop specifications, it is said that it includes the adapter. On the other note, when I click "more images", I see this message above the pictures:

The pictures shown are from the NEW version of this item. The manufacturer Recertified product may differ in packaging and accessories, but will usually be comparable with new versions. On occasion accessory items may or may not be included, and/or substituted. Accessories are shown in the pictures so that customers will know what may be missing.

The adapter is on the picture.

Will I get it?

Thank you all very much.

Regards,
Bob

I've got to say, although I would agree with qhn, that you would at least expect an ac adapter, I believe the wording clearly indicates that you may, or may not!

I know that you must have already received the notebook: So that other folks here who may be thinking of going the refurb-route through NewEgg, can you tell us the results? What actually came with the lappy, did it come in great condition or not, etc.

Any new results? I would imagine that you received your laptop by now? If not I would say you should give Newegg a call and they would be able to answer your questions.
