xps 1530. sigmatel high definition audio.windows vista and xp.
i am having a problem with one of the audio output socket. it worked fine till today. there are two sockets for headphones (or front and rear speakers) and one for mic. i am using stereo system so i used one of the headphones sockets (the one for front speakers). it has stopped working today. i am not sure if it is a harware problem or software because when i open sigmatel control panel there is a clear indication that my jack plug is connected to a each socket. however, there is sound from coming out from one of them only (rear speakers one).
any ideas how i can check where the problem is?
i have 2 systems installed, vista and xp. both has the same problem so don't think this is a drivers problem.
