Greetings!

I have a complex question about the password manager under client security solutions software provided by lenovo. The software allows me to store and manage user names and passwords and goes further by giving me the option to use my finger print to gain access. So when I go to a website or a network share, it pops up asking me to swipe my finger so it can authenticate me, once I do it automatically enters the un/pwd.

Here's the issue, I currently have my ThinkPad setup with a dual boot. I'm running XP Pro SP3 and Vista Ultimate. The biometric scanner stores information about my finger print in the security chip hardware and applies a hidden code to that it uses in conjunction with the password manager software.

I get the password manager software setup under one of the two operating systems on my ThinkPad, but when I try to set it up under the other operating system it asks for my password and then fails to work.

So I can only use the client security solutions password manager under one operating system.

I think there's got to be a setting within the client security solutions software that will fix this problem but I haven't found it yet.

I've tried clearing the security chip data in the BIOS but that resets the password manager that's already setup and working.

Any ideas on how I can get this feature working under both operating systems?

Thanks for your time.
