New computer in five years and its ****ED! vista to xp. hp pavillion dv9845eo. please

please help me out folks. I installed xp after using nlite...
But for hp pavillion dv9845eo there are almost NO support. Im going CRAZY of this shit!

I have managed to get sound and internet and some nvidia driver...thats about it.
I dont know if i got the right stuff either. if ANYONE wants to help me please have a look here.

There's probably not much to do except going back to XP. There's a reason why vendors don't support XP anymore.

well, just wanted to say that i managed myself to update every driver i guess. the system is working fine. No problems..(did it yesterday and searched alloT. But it was all worth it.
Maybe the expresscard slot is not working, dont know. have not tried it..
antways here are some screenshots....looks good. I dont like vista, so i stick with xp. and sorry about the overreaction earlier hehe peace

guess you where wrong Look up the post before this one.

Open Device manager => run devmgmt.msc

Find those unsupported devices

enter their manufacturer id into pcidatabase.com and find your device id under the manufacturer's list. Alternatively, if it's not listed there, run the program hwinfo32 (it's freeware), open the bus, pci bus, find your non-working devices, and find their drivers, either at the manufacturer's website, or at driverguide.com


Edit: I see that you solved it. Ah well.
