Don't know any way that you can find it. However, you can remove the CMOS battery so that it will re-set the bios to a state without a password.

This method is not practical if one has to remove the motherboad to access the CMOS battery like this model. BIOS password can clear easily by software.
Even windows password such as XP or Vista, you can reset easily with software if you happen to forget the password.

. Discussion of Bypassing/Hacking BIOS/Hardware passwords is a no-no at NBF!
. Your best official bet is to send the comp back to the manufacturer or contact them direct for a possibility of on-line support.
. Good luck!

Yep, unlike my DV series notebook, you are right...too much work to get to this model's RTC battery!

What software are you referring to?

NBF considers that only manufacturer technicians possess the official software/tool to reset BIOS/Hardware locks.

Please refrain from discussion (questioning, answering) about this issue. Thanks!

cheers ...
