I recently purchased a new laptop with dual geforce 8700m GTs. I can't even run Crysis on minimal setting, and i'm pretty sure it has something to do with my graphics cards. I have a core duo 9300 2.50 ghz and 4 gb of ram. as well..
ive checked benchmarks and things like that and it all says my computer can easily handle maximum settings, except my GFX card, and it says my GFX card can't even handle the game. I think this is because either the game, the benchmark, or both are not recognizing I have TWO graphics cards. is there a way to check to make sure if they are both working and if they are both being used? I have the newest drivers and SLI enabled.
UPDATE///
I realized the issue i believe. SLI wasnt on. and whenever I do turn it on, it tells me I need to restart, and I click ok. windows loads, but the login screen never comes up and my computer screen stays black, although the computer actually progresses. i can login/etc except my screen does not work for some reason. any help? it seems to have something to do with the graphics drivers, but I have the most recent from the nvidia site, and ive tried other 3rd party ones to no avail
