hi all,
new here, have a problem,,
the power module on the laptop on the motherboard went out, it no longer is charging the battery or powering up the puter. the adaptor is fine, tested it on my other 510.
so is there any way to solder the adapter to the laptop and run it this way. it seems a shame to trash it.

The DC Jack can be repaired if you're familiar with resoldering thru-hole components. Jacks run $20-50 depending on who you buy from.
