i need power supply buying advice

i just bought a computer with these specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 8400
Video Card: Nvidia 9800GTX
Motherboard: Nvidia nForce 780i
Memory: 4gb
Hard Drive: 640gb
Blu Ray Player

and i was wondering if a 750 watt power supply is really needed or can i go for something smaller?

According to Newegg's Power Supply Calculator, you should be able to get by with a 600 watt power supply, but keep in mind that more is always better, especially for future upgrades.

Imagine you already have your PSU, but here a couple of recommendations:

@$119, this 750W PSU is a good deal (altho not modular): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006

@$159, this is also a good PSU. It is 620W, but modular makes it very easy to work with when building your own PC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139002

They are both available with a 15% rebate (mail in) good through tomorrow.
