Then get the newer 180.43's that were just released from LV2G -- their INF adds support for the 7900GS, and is a quick bug fix of 180.42's. I've been using these since last night, and my Far Cry 2 frames have gone up ~3-5 fps over 177.92's.

I play on my fx-7811 at 1440x900 with everything on Very High, DX10, Vista x64, and using "showFps 1" in the console during actual gameplay I tend to get between 25-35 fps. The benchmark is retarded and isn't anywhere NEAR what I get in actual gameplay.

I just cant play FC2 on my m1710 with 7900gs. Weird that i was somehow able to complete crysis(mix of low/med settings) but i just cant go on 10 minutes with this on even lowest settings. Dont know whats at fault here, the gfx card or the drivers. Tried all 178.13,178.24,180.42 and 180.43 from LV2Go.

Man i really like that 7811-fx but just dont have the money

I sold my M1710 for $1700. I picked up my 7811-fx for $1337 after taxes (coincidence? I think not... LOL), then picked up a P9500 to replace the P8400 for ~$350, and have been trying to sell that CPU Pull for only $125 to no avail. Either way I came out about even.

You can??? 169.04 were the last drivers i could use the juanlu flash mod with and overclock high. now i am stuck with 425/507 only. cant go 575/575 like i used to before. So i dont know what to do, revert to 169.04 and overclock higher or stay with 178.24..

You have to flash back to the stock BIOS to overclock with the newer drivers.
