Yes, I am to be pitied, I'm still on a dinosaur! My trusty Area 51m (766 model from June 2004) gave up with a faulty graphics card, the techy guy said, and I'm looking for a replacement card! I have the Ati 9700 (128 MB, which was said to be upgradeable, but that's another story...) and I'm willing to shed some cash out for your old one rotting in the attic or wherever! It's said to be removable with a screwdriver.
As far as I know, the AW guys also released a Quadro card shortly afterwards that fits as well, so that one would be considered as well.
