ok i'm tired of searching
my problem is i can't find a decent driver for my
7900GTX512 on my 7700 laptop
i searched almost all the drivers on laptopvideo2go.com
all the drivers either play the games or run video
no driver can do both
so either i get a crappy game or i can't see any movie or tv show

the only driver that work fine is 84.63
but it's soooooo sold i can't run far cry 2 in good condition

anyone with this card please help
it's getting so annoying

OMAGAIN, I have the 7900 GTX 256MB card from Alienware (I upgraded to that card) and I use a driver from their site. I assuming since you have more memory on your card this driver won't work, but it's still a 7900 GTX driver. Have you given that a shot?

Also, do you use a driver cleaner when you install new drivers?

I assume you're using the modified INF file from laptopvideo2go.com?

The 7700 is a strange beast. Desktop processor/chipset, mobile vid card. Don't know what to tell you...

Have you looked at Sager forums? I think they sold the clevo with the 7950 in it...

I have the 7900GTX 256MB. I used 167.51 from laptopvideo2go.com. This is the first newer driver I've found for the 7900GTX that doesn't cause a memory leak.

BFisch06 i use the video from aliennware but it's very old & some games just show in very low quality & poor performance

Hammerhead yes i'm using the modified INF but still have many problems with the video card
sagerforums.com is gone can't find it
lesson learned "laptop is a laptop & PC is a PC"

Tokamak7700 i'll give 167.51 a try thnx

Notebookreview forum has a better Sager/clevo info board if you need that.
