Hey guys I'd like to know why would the Asus m51ta-x1 screen looks like crap compared to an HP dv5t?

I was looking today at a computer store and noticed the asus screen is alot darker compared to the HP, also the HP seems alot less reflective.

I'd like to know what you guys think on this is there anyone with either of these what do you think about the screen?

Just like many other components, screens are made by different companies. Neither Asus or HP manufactures LCD screens, and so there will be variations of quality, viewing angles, resolution, and brightness among the different screens you see made by the various LCD manufacturers.
